Covers both the Postmark web tool and the Postmark Chrome extension. Last updated August 2026.
Postmark is a free tool by LOGOBBY that decodes the exact publish time of a LinkedIn post from its own post ID, and — through the optional Chrome extension — reads reaction and comment counts from your own LinkedIn activity page.
The postmark.logobby.com website (not the Chrome extension) uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic — for example, how many people visit, which pages they view, and general location/device information derived automatically from that visit. This is standard website analytics, separate from Postmark's actual decoding/extraction features described above: it never sees anything you paste into the tool or anything read from your LinkedIn activity page.
Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect data such as your approximate location (from IP address), browser and device type, and pages visited. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.
The Chrome extension itself does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics — it has no network access beyond linkedin.com, and everything it reads stays inside your browser.
Postmark does not share, sell, or transmit any of the data you paste, decode, or extract to third parties — that part of Postmark has no backend and never leaves your browser. The one exception is standard website analytics (Google Analytics) on the postmark.logobby.com site itself, described above. Postmark is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to LinkedIn Corporation or Google in any way.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "last updated" date above.
